EUR/USD struggles to make a move in either direction
EUR/USD reached a daily high of 1.2148 in the European session. After staying stuck in a very tight range during the Asian trading hours. As US data came the pair dropped till 1.2100 with the USD gathering strength in the second half of the day.As there won't be any other economics data releases from the US in the day so the pair is likely to extend its sideways movement ahead of the FOMC's monetary policy announcements on Wednesday.
On the other hand Gold price is attempting a bit of recovery above USD1850, although the bulls appear to lack conviction, as the USD continues to hover near the monthly highs.
